Since Christina was promoted to Director of Outpatient, the Out Patient census has increased by 40%.  Christina has watched our services grow and knows what’s needed to move forward.  At one point, Christina wanted to be a teacher and this has added extra creativity as she continues to grow her outpatient team and expand specialized youth/ adult services.

“Christina is a great visionary. Her passion to help others shows not only in the way she cares for patients but as a leader who thrives to make everyone and everything around her better. She is definitely an asset to our team.”

Program Highlight

Christina Horan and her team do an exceptional job in identifying specific needs for patients in the outpatient programs to ensure patients get the care they deserve. Patients engage with shared experiences in group sessions thought-out their plan of care. They collectively participate in group and individual activities and become part of the family at DBHH.
When a patient is discharged from services, the Outpatient team follows up with the patient to ensure they are getting the care they need post-discharge. The growth and direction from this strong team are improving overall care and seeing increased referrals and patient success that everyone looks forward to continuing.

More about the Program

Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital’s Intensive Outpatient Program allows individuals to maintain their daily routines such as attending work or school. This program runs three hours per day, with snacks and coffee provided. Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital’s outpatient services offers a nurturing environment for patients to receive treatment while maintaining their everyday activities such as work and school. Families and support are encouraged to participate as part of the healing process.

Groups are available Monday thru Friday, offered at various times to accommodate for your schedule. Participants will participate in the program three times per week for up to eight weeks.

Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital also offers Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP), the most structured outpatient program, providing daily connections with peers along with clinical and medical oversight. Therapy is provided in a group setting and runs up to six hours per day, with lunch, coffee and snacks provided.
