AABH is kicking off our search for presenters for the 2027 National Conference, presented for the Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) community, in Minneapolis–St. Paul, Minnesota, this April! Whether you're an experienced presenter or sharing your
expertise for the first time, we want to hear from you.

We enjoy highlighting local expertise with local keynote speakers - looking in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
CONFERENCE THEME & SUBMISSION TOPICS
We are seeking presentations that provide practical knowledge, evidence-based strategies, and innovative approaches for PHP/IOP programs
related to the following topics:
- Healthcare Ethics
- Cultural Competency
- Suicide Prevention
- Outcome Measurement Tools and Their Use in Treatment Goals
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All presentation blocks are 60 minutes. AABH uses the CE-Go platform for proposal submissions. This requires you to set up an account so you can stop and stop if needed and check the progress of your proposal. In order to complete the submission, you'll need the following:
- Your professional information (name, credentials, organization, phone and email)
- Brief Description of your training session
- A minimum of 3 learning objectives
- A minimum of 5 peer-reviewed articles that support your presentation topic
- A brief biography that highlights your experience that supports you as an expert/leader in the topic
- A current curriculum vitae or resume that demonstrates your expertise in the topic (include dates of your degrees)
- Optional at submission: Recent headshot (will be required if your session is accepted)
Who is AABH?
The Association for Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare is a professional association that represents Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) across the U.S. AABH provides Training, Advocacy and Education for members, payers and regulators with a vested interest in PHP and IOP.
What's the Purpose?
For over 50 years, AABH has been the leader in training for PHP and IOP. Because the size of the programs is limited to meet clinical standards and the services provided are somewhat unique, members rely on AABH to keep them up to date on administrative, clinical, and legislative issues that directly impact them. AABH sets the standards for these types of programs.
Who Attends?
The Annual Conference attendance includes primarily the managers/directors of PHP and IOP. A small number of direct line staff and C-Suite attendees are also present. With the hybrid option of the training conference, the expected attendance at the conference is 100-120 total attendees.
