For more than 50 years, AABH has been setting the standards of care for a niche service in the behavioral health continuum. Partial hospitalization is an alternative to inpatient treatment when someone is stable enough not need 24-hour care for a behavioral health challenge. Intensive Outpatient Programs represent a level of care where a person needs more than routine behavioral services but not the intensity of a partial program or hospitalization.
AABH has worked closely with regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies and payers to create standards of practice for an intermediary level of care in behavioral health that includes partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs.
AABH provides training, education, advocacy and connection for providers of partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs who make up this niche market. AABH prides itself in keeping its members up to date, so the entire industry remains solvent and providing best in care for those who need a partial hospitalization program or intensive outpatient program.
